Pingüi
Background
PINGÜI is a new design brand dedicated to creating sustainable products using reclaimed and certified wood. This approach not only reduces environmental impact but also adds a unique story to each piece. They value artisanal craftsmanship, recognizing that each combination of woods results in an unrepeatable creation.
To visualize PINGÜI's new identity, I designed a brand that is both modern and friendly, aiming to reflect a trustworthy and approachable image. The new identity emphasizes a balance between contemporary aesthetics and a warm.

01
Industrial Design
I led the design of one of Pingüi's products, a decorative piece. The main objective was to create a work that captured the essence of the brand, turning it into a memorable icon for its customers. Additionally, we aimed to better promote the brand's value by creating sustainable products that resonate emotionally with users.
These figures abstract the silhouettes of two penguins, representing a balance between purity and minimalism. Intended to become decorative objects that bring humor and tenderness, they are inspired by penguins, non-flying seabirds admired for their adaptability, empathy, and teamwork.
02
Brand Identity
The logo minimalistally abstracts the silhouette of a penguin, accompanied by a curved typography that evokes the simplicity characteristic of these incredible animals. A visual identity that is clean and modern, using a colour palette that evokes stability, confidence, and sophistication.
03
UX/UI Design
In order to increase the online presence of Pingüi, I first analyzed the current website. Then I conducted a competitive analysis, user survey, user and stakeholder interviews. I need to empathize with users to really understand the problem.
Before I began my research, I identified problems associated with the current design of the website, looking for gaps in the experience, and comparing it against the usability heuristics. This provided a foundation for improving the overall user experience. Issues were categorized as low, medium, or high based on their impact on usability.
04
Next Steps
We need to validate and iterate on this improvement to ensure we are on the right track. We will conduct another round of usability studies to validate the effectiveness of addressing user pain points and carry out further user research to identify new areas of opportunity.
